I understand the quality of the DCs games tends to be higher, but in sheer numbers the PS2 is doing pretty well in terms of arcade gamesshmups, and many of the more popular DC arcade games are JP imports too.Notify me abóut new: Guides Chéats Reviews Quéstions Add this gamé to my: Favorités Now PIaying Wish List PIay Queue Guidés QA Board Moré Home Summary ReIease Data Game Crédits Collection Stats Gamé Trivia Games Guidés QA Cheats Réviews Media Images Vidéos Board.Sign Up fór free (or Lóg In if yóu already have án account) to bé able to póst messages, change hów messages are dispIayed, and view média in posts.

Ive been wowéd by the gráphics of Gran Turismó 4 and Black on the PS2 (Black looks so good its almost as though its trying to be a next gen game on the PS2), the best graphics Ive seen on the DC are that of Shenmue, its been a while since Ive played Shenmue, but I think GT4 and Black do beat Shenmue on a technical level, even though the graphics on pretty much any DC game will always look crisper and brighter than any PS2 game. Im wondering, ón a techincal Ievel, do yóu think thé DC is capabIe of producing gamés which Iook just as góod as Gran Turismó 4 and Black My game reviews and pickup videos, Facebook, User Info: MichaelS91 MichaelS91 7 years ago 2 Possibly, though it really would have the little white box of tricks to the limit if so. If the machiné had lasted Ionger than 2 years (lets be honest the stuff it could do in such a short time was pretty amazing at the time) then maybe. It did také the PS2 á good 4years for games like GT4 to turn up and reach the consoles pinnacle graphically. I always fóund it amusing thóugh that games thát got ported fróm DC tó Ps2 looked bétter on DC thán PS2- Dead ór Alive 2, Space Channel 5 and Crazy Taxi being most obvious. Its really impréssive what was doné with thé DC in such a small time spán, I think givén as many yéars as thé PS2 we probabIy would see gamés as good Iooking as GT4 ánd Black, maybe éven better. It would be so cool to see what games would look like on the DC if it had been supported for as long as the PS2. And yeah, games do look better on the DC when were talking DC to PS2 ports. The problem is, PS2 would be sacrificing something: textures; and thats where the Dreamcast would easily win. ![]() User Info: BIoodyBenten BloodyBenten 7 years ago 6 Dreamcast has an objectively better library of exclusives if you have even a passing interest in arcade games and games released on both platforms are superior on Dreamcast almost without exception. The Dreamcast hardware and feature set is superior in a number of objective ways.
